“Karmma Calling”: Raveena Tandon and Varun Sood’s Unique Bond Unveiled

In the much-anticipated series “Karmma Calling” on Disney+ Hotstar, the opulent world of the Kothari empire is set to unravel its secrets. The reigning queen of Alibaug, Indrani Kothari (Raveena Tandon), is gearing up for a clash with Karma Talwar (Namrata Sheth), where dark secrets and high stakes take center stage. The trailer unveiled recently, promises a guilty pleasure ride into the lives of the unapologetically rich.

Scheduled for release on January 26, 2024, the series is produced by R.A.T Films, adapted for India, and directed by Ruchi Narain. The star-studded cast includes Raveena Tandon, Namrata Sheth, Varun Sood, Gaurav Sharma, Waluscha D’souza, Amy Aela, Viraf Patel, and Piyush Khati, each playing pivotal roles in this drama-filled narrative.

In an exclusive glimpse into the offscreen dynamics, Raveena Tandon sheds light on her special bond with co-star Varun Sood. Despite portraying a mother-son duo with underlying tension onscreen, their offscreen camaraderie is a complete contrast.

According to Tandon, Varun Sood is a “really sweet guy” who initially appeared reserved and quiet during their first meeting for script readings. Tandon believes that Sood, a dedicated and skilled actor, opened up over time. The on-set atmosphere was filled with laughter, jokes, and chats during breaks, creating a unique bond between the two actors.

Expressing her confidence in Varun’s talent, Tandon stated, “I wouldn’t have anyone else play the role of Ahaan Kothari. He is a very promising actor, and I feel he will go a very long way.”
