Big Sports Fun, Trophies and Medals Awarded at the Sansad Khel Mahotsav Event
A prize-giving event was held at the Sports Authority of Gujarat, Khokhra Sports Complex, Khokhra.
This event was part of the Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025. It was organised in the Ahmedabad West Lok Sabha area by popular MP Dineshbhai Makwana. The main aim is to support our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s, dream of making India a top country in sports.
Over two days, sports competitions were held. Today, the final matches were played, and prizes were given to the winners.

- Many councillors, presidents, and other leaders were also present.

🏆 Kabaddi (Men’s):
Winner Team: Mahendra Sports Club, Shahpur – Received Trophy
Runner-up Team: Sardar Bridge Team, Jamalpur – Received Trophy
🏋️ Weightlifting:
- 1st Place: Bronze Medal
- 2nd Place: Gold Medal
- 3rd Place: Silver Medal
- A total of 24 boys and 24 girls got medals.
🧘 Yogasana (Under 19 and up to age 60):
- 1st Place: Bronze Medal
- 2nd Place: Gold Medal
- 3rd Place: Silver Medal
- Players from different age groups were awarded.
All participants were given certificates for taking part in the event.
MP Dineshbhai Makwana said this event was held to support PM Modi’s vision of making sports popular in the country. He praised all players and said they played very well. He also thanked the Sports Authority of Gujarat and DSDO Sameerbhai Panchal and his team.
He also thanked all the BJP leaders and team members who stayed for two days to support the players.
Finally, the MP gave a special message: “If we stay fit, then India stays fit – Hum Fit to India Fit!”
