  • It covers 20 districts of Gujarat and 2 Union Territories: Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

  • Registration began on 12 March 2025 and was originally scheduled to end on 10 April 2025.

  • Due to high interest and candidates’ requests, the last date has been extended to 25 April 2025.

  • Registration is for all Agniveer categories through the Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

  • Candidates must register at the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The dream of wearing the proud olive green uniform and serving the nation as an Agniveer just got more reachable! In a significant move, the Indian Army has announced an extension in the online registration window for the much-awaited Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2025-2026.

Originally set to close on 10 April 2025, the registration deadline has now been extended to 25 April 2025, giving thousands of aspiring youth a golden opportunity to apply and take a step toward their dream of joining the armed forces.

This recruitment drive is open for youth from 20 districts of Gujarat and two Union Territories – Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The districts included are:

  • Ahmedabad

  • Anand

  • Arvalli

  • Banaskantha

  • Bharuch

  • Chhotaudepur

  • Dangs

  • Dahod

  • Gandhinagar

  • Kheda

  • Mahisagar

  • Mahesana

  • Narmada

  • Navsari

  • Panchmahals

  • Sabarkantha

  • Surat

  • Tapi

  • Vadodara

  • Valsad

The inclusion of two UTs ensures that even those from smaller regions aren’t left behind in the recruitment process.

All interested candidates must register online for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE). The only official website for registration is:

This step is mandatory before participating in the recruitment rally. The online process ensures fair, transparent, and accessible registration for all eligible candidates.

  • Start Date of Online Registration: 12 March 2025

  • Initial Last Date: 10 April 2025

  • Extended Last Date: 25 April 2025

Candidates who missed the earlier deadline now have extra time to gather documents, prepare, and apply.

The Agnipath Scheme was introduced by the Indian government to recruit youth into the armed forces on a short-term basis. Those selected as Agniveers will serve in the Indian Army for four years. During this time, they’ll receive training, gain discipline, and build a future with pride and purpose.

After four years, a portion of Agniveers will be selected for permanent service based on performance and organizational requirements.

The selection process for Agniveer includes:

  1. Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE)

  2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  3. Medical Examination

Different categories under Agniveer (like Agniveer General Duty, Technical, Clerk, and Tradesman) have slightly different qualifications, so candidates should carefully read the details on the official website before applying.

The extension of the last date to 25 April 2025 is a relief for many candidates who could not complete their forms on time due to various personal, academic, or logistical reasons. It shows the Indian Army’s commitment to ensuring every eligible candidate gets a fair chance to apply and participate.

  • Register only through the official Indian Army website.

  • Double-check your documents before submission.

  • Begin physical preparation early – the fitness test is crucial.

  • Stay updated via official sources and avoid misleading information from unofficial sites or social media.
