Shah Rukh Khan’s New Movie ‘Jawan’ Sets Box Office Buzz
Shah Rukh Khan, the famous actor, is back with a new movie called “Jawan,” directed by Atlee. After the big success of “Pathaan,” everyone is excited about this movie. It’s hitting the theaters on September 7 and promises lots of action and entertainment. The movie got a certificate for audiences above 12 years old, and it runs for 2 hours and 49 minutes.
Lots of Screens:
Jawan” is going to be shown in more than 5,000 theaters all over India. That’s a lot! It’s not exactly 5500 like “Pathaan,” but it’s still a huge release.
People Are Excited:
Even before the movie comes out, lots of people are buying tickets. They started selling tickets on Friday, and by Monday afternoon, they had already sold 2,59,000 tickets in big cinema chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. PVR sold 1,26,000 tickets, Inox sold 87,000, and Cinepolis sold 46,000. Miraj, another big chain, sold more than 23,000 tickets. MovieMax sold 7,000, and MovieTime sold about 5,500. These are great numbers, and it’s not even the main release day yet!
Breaking Records:
Jawan” wants to beat the record of “Pathaan” in these big cinema chains for advance bookings. It’s doing really well and might even beat records like “Mission Mangal,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “Adipurush,” and “Sanju.” That’s impressive!
Opening Day Expectations:
“Jawan” is hoping to make about 60 crores on the first day, just in the Hindi language. If you count all the languages in India, it could be around 65 to 70 crores. That’s a lot of money!
It’s also a holiday for Janmashtami in many parts of India, so more people might go to watch the movie on Wednesday. “Jawan” is more of a movie that lots of people will like, not just in big cities but also in small towns.
