Overlander Off-Road Adventure & Autocross and the Mega ATV Championship, Season VII were two major racing events that Autosports India organized in Goa from May 11–15, 2022. Nearly 65 teams (Category Combustion and Electric), 12 Teams for Overlander, and 32 Teams for Autocross from all over India participated and tested their vehicle projects.
North Goa’s Autosportsindia Off-road Racing Track-2 will host the Night Endurance Race.
The competition has been centered on areas of real-world challenges like disaster management and defense using All-Terrain-Vehicles (ATVs), engineering design manufacturing racing, and utility-based competitions in which competitors teams from all over the country have to design and then fabricate an ATV and use it to serve for humanity after proving their authority at the Mega ATV Championship.
The aspiring engineers of numerous technological universities create each car. According to Autosports India’s motorsports standards, these projects have undergone testing. The technical examination, which comprises safety testing, engine inspection, brake testing, light, and visibility testing, and overall vehicle testing, serves as the basis for evaluation.
The race is renowned for its unique format, which combines a drag race, flat dirt race, Armageddon race, and the most well-liked night endurance race.
The following is a list of the podium-finishing winners:
ATV in the category Combustion
Team SparkX Racing, Silver Oak University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was the overall winner and champion.
Redshift Racing India, K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, finished in second place overall.
CEG Motorsports, College of Engineering, Guindy, placed second overall.
Electric ATV class
Team eSJEC Racing, St. Joseph Engineering College, was the overall champion.
Team Redline Racing from the Kammavari Sangham Group of Institutions came in second overall.
Team Volante, from the M.S. Ramiah Institute of Technology, came in second place overall.
The race is well renowned for its unique format and production. It took place on India’s largest off-road racing course, which has a total length of around 8.5 kilometers and a track area of over 900 acres. The course is a speedway designed for a legitimate professional rally format.
Overlander Off-Road Adventure – The Overlander Off-Road Adventure 2022 is a brand-new idea for everyone who enjoys off-roading and motorsports and owns any kind of vehicle, including SUVs, sedans, or hatchbacks in all categories. It takes place on an 8.5 km professional off-road race track in Goa (2WD, 4WD). Numerous Off-Road events have been held all throughout India since 2015 thanks to Autosports India. The driving community and enthusiasts now have the option to follow their hearts and put their vehicles and driving abilities to the test on an off-road race course that is sure to get their blood flowing. Mountain Off-Road Drive (on a confined track), Armageddon Challenge (44), and Autocross are all included in the event. With his Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 in the lead, Mr. Vikas Verma of Pune has taken the competition.
For professional autocross drivers, autocross is performed on a closed-circuit loop measuring 800 meters. On May 15, 2022, there were 32 entries, and the event ran from 11:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. 800 CC-1000 CC, 1301-1600 CC, Unrestricted, SUV Class, and Indian Open are among the vehicle categories.

The purpose of the event is to promote Indian motorsports, increase the number of Indian racers competing in reputable international professional competitions, and train Indian youth for illustrious competitions like the Formula 1, World Rally Championship, and other National and International circuit races.
