Everyone has been speculating about Dev since the publication of Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva thanks to Ayan Mukerji. Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan are two names that have surfaced, although Ayan is keeping quiet about the movie. However, it appears that a journalist unintentionally verified that Ranveer is definitely portraying Dev in Brahmastra Part 2: Dev.
Anupama Chopra of Film Companion announced that Ayan had enlisted Ranveer for the movie in a video. She made the unintentional gaffe, saying, “I hope that the lessons of this film (Brahmastra Part One) enable them (the directors) to develop a kickass part two with of course Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.
Those who have seen the movie will recall that Deepika Padukone made her film debut in Brahmastra as the Jal Astra, Amrita. Her character is the mother of Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor). Ayan provided a terrific look at Deepika in the role even though it was only a brief appearance.
Ayan said that he has read the theories regarding Dev when he spoke with News18.com. “I am unable to identify Dev. Despite my extensive reading of names, the identity will remain a mystery for some time “said he.
