WWE Superstar Spectacle Lights Up Hyderabad

Newzdaddy Entertainment updates

Hyderabad, September 8, 2023 – Excitement filled the air as WWE made a grand return to India with the WWE Superstar Spectacle event at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. It’s been a while since WWE last visited India, back in 2017, and this time they brought one of their all-time greatest stars, John Cena, for his very first appearance in the country. Cena, a thirteen-time WWE World Champion, had some interesting moments during his visit.

Before the big show, John Cena met with Rajesh Kaul, who’s in charge of important stuff at Sony Pictures Networks India. They talked about how much WWE fans in India love the sport, Cena’s return to wrestling, and his very first trip to India as a WWE superstar.

Cena also got to meet Karthi, a famous actor and a big deal in the South Indian film industry. They took pictures together, which was pretty cool. Karthi had been working on a secret project with WWE wrestlers Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, making things even more interesting.

The WWE Superstar Spectacle had a bunch of top WWE stars, including Seth Rollins, Jinder Mahal, Natalya, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and a tough guy named Gunther. They all came to India to put on an awesome wrestling show for the fans.

Here’s what happened in the matches:

  • Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Drew McIntyre won against Indus Sher
  • Natalya beat Zoey Stark
  • Gunther took down Shanky
  • Bron Breakker defeated Odyssey Jones
  • Rhea Ripley won against Natalya
  • John Cena & Seth Rollins joined forces to defeat Imperium

John Cena, a wrestling legend, shared his feelings about being in India: “Thank you for letting me be here tonight. You know, sometimes we feel something inside that really moves us. I’ve been thinking about this moment for 20 years. I wanted to say that this moment was even better than I could have imagined.”

It was a night to remember for WWE fans in India, and John Cena’s visit made it even more special.
