Empowering Entrepreneurs: Unveiling the Spirit of Anandomela
The spirit of International Women’s Day was celebrated vibrantly at the Vastrapur Amphitheatre in Ahmedabad. The occasion was marked by the convergence of the Indradhanush Awards and the Anandomela Carnival, orchestrated by the Public Relations Council of India – Ahmedabad Chapter, in collaboration with Punjab National Bank, SMS PR agency, and Bhargav Thakkar’s Acumen Advisory. This event aimed to honor women entrepreneurs and foster a sense of community and celebration.
Unveiling the Indradhanush Initiative
The Indradhanush initiative, spanning the past four months, radiated colors of positivity and compassion across communities. Seven teams, each comprising 10-11 passionate entrepreneurs, embarked on transformative journeys within seven distinct communities. From supporting blind girls to spending quality time with the elderly, these teams worked tirelessly to uplift and empower those in need. The initiative drew inspiration from the seven vibrant hues of the rainbow, symbolizing the diverse spectrum of efforts undertaken.
Acknowledging the collaborative efforts, Mr. Subhojit Sen, the program organizer, expressed gratitude towards partners and supporters including Shri M B Jayram, President of PRCI National Forum, esteemed officials from Punjab National Bank, Mr. Bhargav Thakkar, Mr. Roopesh Amin of Utsav Events, and several others whose contributions bolstered the initiative’s impact.

Colors of Compassion
Each team embarked on a unique journey, leaving an indelible mark on the communities they served. Team Vibrant Violets, led by Ms. Ankita Khant, collaborated with the Karan Foundation, while Team Ignited Indigos, under the guidance of Ms. Vrinda Makwana, brought joy to the elderly at Krishnadham Vruddhashram. From supporting the Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh to advocating for cancer awareness through Sanjeevani, each team exemplified the spirit of compassion and service.
A Musical Extravaganza
The event reached its crescendo on the 9th of March, 2024, with a musical extravaganza and awards ceremony. Distinguished personalities including Lion Harsha Patel, Socialite Sofia Khericha, and Mrs. Nayika Agarwal graced the occasion. Notable performances by Siddi dancers and a special appearance by Junior Bachchan – Mr. Pinakin Gohil added fervor to the festivities. The presence of esteemed guests such as Ms. Ruzan Khambatta, CA Nisha Patel, and others underscored the significance of the event.
Anandomela Carnival
Complementing the Indradhanush Awards was the Anandomela Carnival, a celebration of food, fashion, and festivity, designed to empower women entrepreneurs. With over 25 stalls showcasing a diverse array of products and services, the carnival provided a platform for networking and business expansion. The event was open to all, embodying inclusivity and community engagement.
