Prithviraj Sukumaran considers how frequently the sacrifices made by the men and women in the military go unappreciated. In the upcoming JioHotstar movie Sarzameen, the actor plays an Army officer. He talked about how his role forced him to reconsider the silent perseverance of service members. He said that Sarzameen is about more than just the uniform; it’s also about the price. “We get to live normal lives because someone else gives up theirs,” he said. Vijay Menon, a respected cop battling personal anguish and emotional distance, is portrayed by Prithviraj in the movie, providing a unique glimpse into the frailties that lie beneath the bravery.
“The next time you see a service member, simply approach them and say, ‘Sir, Ma’am, thank you for your service,'” Prithiviraj said. Someone out there has taken on the duty of keeping our peace, so we go about our everyday lives without hesitation. These individuals sacrifice their children’s development, birthdays, and festivals so that we might live in freedom. Above all, it’s a sacrifice, and we have to accept it.
