Mundra Port sets an all-time high for SPRH throughput on July 26

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) is proud to announce a series of record-breaking operational achievements at Mundra Port in July 2025, reinforcing its position as India’s leading logistics and maritime hub.

A) Railway Milestones: New Records in Double Stack Handling

Mundra Port has set a new benchmark in double-stack container rake operations:

Highest-Ever Double Stack Rakes Handled:
A total of 898 rakes (357 export, 541 import) moved 46 lakh TEUs (0.19 lakh export + 0.27 lakh import), surpassing the previous record of 840 rakes and 0.44 lakh TEUs achieved in June 2025.
Import Double Stack Record:
Mundra successfully handled 541 import double stack rakes, transporting 27 lakh TEUs, breaking the earlier record of 524 rakes and 0.26 lakh TEUs.

B) Marine Excellence: Fastest Panamax Vessel Turnaround at West Basin

The West Basin at Mundra Port witnessed a historic performance with the discharge of the Panamax vessel MV MACHERAS:

Total Cargo Handled: 76,172.550 MT
Discharge Completed in: 20 hours and 40 minutes
Average Throughput: 3,687 TPH
This marks the fastest-ever turnaround for a Panamax vessel at the West Basin, surpassing the previous record set by MV Trustn Trader in February 2016.

C) Record SPRH Performance

The Semi-Automatic Port Rail Handling (SPRH) facility also achieved its highest-ever single-day throughput:

6,348 TEUs handled within 24 hours on July 26, 2025, surpassing the previous record of 6,032 TEUs on January 13, 2025.
