Indian Navy Band to perform in Daman and Silvassa this August

The Indian Navy is hosting a special musical performance for the public to commemorate Independence Day in 2025. “Indian Navy Band Performance – Operation Sindoor ’25” is the title. This event is a part of the Navy’s endeavour to engage with the community and spread patriotism.

Three sites in the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman, and Diu will host this lovely event. Honouring our national pride, showcasing the accomplishments of Operation Sindoor, and inspiring pride in the Indian Navy’s diligence and hard work are the objectives.

Strong and moving patriotic songs will be performed by the band from the Indian Navy Ship INS Kunjali. From small toddlers to the elderly, these songs will resonate with everyone. Everyone is welcome to attend the free event.

With assistance from the local government, INS Sardar Patel, who is in charge of Headquarters Gujarat, Daman & Diu Naval Area (HQGD&D), is organising this musical performance. The district administration will assist with crowd management, parking, and safety. A Navy band is performing in this Union Territory for the first time.
The song “Operation Sindoor ’25” pays homage to India’s strength, togetherness, and pride. The Indian Navy extends an invitation to all citizens to participate in this unique initiative. Together, we may sing these lovely patriotic songs in honour of Mother India.

12 August at 7:00 PM at Lighthouse Amphitheatre in Daman

13 August: 7:00 PM at Silvassa’s Riverfront

15 August: 11:00 AM at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium in Silvassa

Duration of the event: approximately one hour

With the help of HQ Gujarat, Daman & Diu Naval Area (HQGD&D), INS Sardar Patel is organising this sentimental occasion. The Navy and the local administration are collaborating closely to ensure that everything goes without a hitch, including crowd control, parking, and security.

The fact that the Navy band is performing in this Union Territory for the first time is what makes this celebration unique. Seeing such a strong display of patriotism is a great moment for the locals.
