Celebrating Teacher’s Day, Cairn Oil & Gas, part of the Vedanta Group, organised a special event to honor and felicitate teachers who have dedicated their lives to the cause of good education, from schools across Agchamua, Maibelia and Paschamua. The initiative aimed to recognise the vital role of teachers in shaping young minds and contributing to the educational and social development of the region.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on September 5 in India to honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the country’s second President and a great teacher. Across India, schools and colleges organise events to appreciate teachers. Mantu Gogoi, Principal of Madhya Nakachari High School, said, “It is humbling to be getting this recognition. Kharod Gogoi, Assistant teacher, added, “This indeed is a booster dose to our confidence and bolsters our spirit to continue shaping young minds.”
