Sharvari Brings A Bold Colour Moment With Godrej Professional

Godrej Professional Brought Six New Colour Looks To Ahmedabad With Sharvari At The Event

Bollywood Actress Sharvari Wagh joined salon professionals and hair stylists in Ahmedabad as Godrej Professional introduced two new hair colour collections, Majesté and Vybe, during an event aimed at improving professional colouring skills in Gujarat.

The event brought together more than 200 hairstylists, salon professionals and salon owners. It also featured technical demonstrations led by Shailesh Moolya, National Technical Head of Godrej Professional, followed by a ramp presentation of colour looks from the two collections.

The Ahmedabad programme is part of Godrej Professional’s wider effort to train salon professionals in Gujarat. The focus is significant as hair colouring has become a growing part of professional salon services in India, with consumers increasingly looking for personalised shades rather than a single standard colour.

Recent industry research points to a wider shift in the Indian professional hair-care market. Kline reported in 2026 that ammonia-free hair colour is moving from a premium feature towards a more common expectation among salons and clients. Other market research has also identified hair colouring as one of the stronger areas within professional hair care, supported by changing fashion preferences, social media influence and demand for personalised salon services.

Against this background, Majesté and Vybe offer two different approaches to colour.

Majesté is powered by Dimension, Godrej Professional’s no-ammonia colour range. The collection has three shades: Florence Gold, Roman Ember and Parisian Rouge.

Florence Gold is a brown-gold shade. Roman Ember combines copper and brown tones, while Parisian Rouge uses reddish-brown tones with deeper red and wine shades. The collection is built around rich and traditional colour choices, with the company drawing inspiration from gemstones and luxury fashion.

Vybe is powered by Colour Play, Godrej Professional’s professional colour system. It has three looks aimed at different styling preferences.

Chaos Mode uses cool-toned beige blonde shades. Soft Launch focuses on dimensional brunette colours, while Main Character uses warm auburn-brown tones.

The three Vybe looks were first introduced by Godrej Professional earlier in 2026 as part of its wider colour programme. Training for salon professionals has been a central part of those launches, reflecting the technical skill needed to reproduce modern colour techniques consistently.

For customers, the final result of a salon colour service depends on more than the shade shown on a colour chart. Hair condition, previous colour treatments, natural hair colour, application technique and after-care can all affect the finished result. This makes training an important part of the professional colour business.

At the Ahmedabad event, Moolya led demonstrations showing how colour techniques can be adapted to individual clients. The programme was followed by a fashion ramp featuring looks based on Majesté and Vybe.

Sharvari, who is the brand ambassador for Godrej Professional, appeared as the showstopper in a Vybe look.

“Hair has always been such an important part of how we express ourselves, and I love how Majesté and Vybe offer two very different ways to make that expression your own. Majesté has this beautiful sense of richness and elegance, while Vybe feels more playful, bold and personal. Being here in Ahmedabad and seeing these looks come to life has been such an exciting experience. I think the best hair colour is one that makes you feel confident, reflects your personality and, most importantly, feels like you.”

The event also reflects a wider change in the Indian salon sector. Consumers in larger cities and increasingly in smaller urban centres are being exposed to international hair and beauty trends through social media, films and celebrity styling. This has increased interest in colours that go beyond traditional black, brown and grey coverage.

At the same time, the professional sector is placing greater attention on hair condition and gentler colour systems. Kline’s 2026 assessment of the Indian professional hair-care market noted the growing importance of ammonia-free colour, while Mintel’s latest India hair-colour research points to rising consumer expectations around hair health, scalp comfort and personalised colouring.

For salon businesses, this creates a need for stylists who can understand both colour selection and application. Training can also help salons offer newer international trends while adapting them to the individual needs of Indian clients.

Speaking about the collections, Shailesh Moolya, National Technical Head, Godrej Professional, said, “With Majesté and Vybe, we are looking at two very different yet equally powerful sides of hair colour. Majesté is about timeless luxury, with Florence Gold, Roman Ember and Parisian Rouge drawing inspiration from the depth and brilliance of precious gemstones. Vybe, on the other hand, is about the energy you carry and translating that into colour through Chaos Mode, Soft Launch and Main Character. For us as stylists, both collections open a new creative canvas — allowing us to combine technique, precision and artistry to create colour that feels personal to every client. Global beauty is moving towards more individual and expressive colour, and we want to equip India’s salon community to lead that evolution.”

For Gujarat’s salon professionals, the Ahmedabad programme therefore served a practical purpose alongside the product launch. It gave stylists access to demonstrations and training linked to current colour trends, while introducing six new colour directions through the two collections.

Godrej Professional is part of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), whose professional hair portfolio includes hair care, colour, styling and treatment products.

The Majesté and Vybe collections are available at leading salons across Gujarat.
