Ahmedabad Marathon 2026 Gets New Jersey for 10th Edition

Adani Ahmedabad Marathon Marks 10th Edition with New Reebok Jersey

The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon has unveiled the official jersey for its 10th edition, with sportswear company Reebok joining the event as its jersey partner.

The jersey was presented on Sunday at Palladium Ahmedabad, the marathon’s official mall partner, in the presence of members of the city’s running community and fitness enthusiasts.

The 10th edition is scheduled for November 29, 2026. Runners will compete in four categories: the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km races. The event will start at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park and follow routes that pass several well-known parts of Ahmedabad.

The race has been listed on the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) Global Marathon Event List since 2022. Its routes are also certified by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). AIMS currently lists the November 29, 2026 race as the next edition of the Ahmedabad event.

The new jersey uses flowing lines and a colour gradient that moves from blue to purple and magenta. According to the organisers, the design is intended to follow the changing mood of a race day, beginning with the quiet wait before the start and moving towards the effort of the race and the finish.

A tricolour contour runs through the design. It connects the jersey with #Run4OurSoldiers, the initiative associated with the marathon since recent editions. The campaign is centred on paying tribute to members of India’s Armed Forces, with the organisers saying a major share of proceeds is directed towards their welfare.

The jersey carries the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon and Reebok identities. For Reebok, the association adds a presence in one of Ahmedabad’s largest mass-participation running events. For the marathon, the partnership gives the 10th-edition race apparel a separate identity.

The size of the event has changed sharply since its early editions. The marathon began in 2017, and the latest edition in 2025 drew more than 24,000 participants, according to Adani Sportsline and reports from the event.

The 2025 race, held on November 30, included more than 4,000 military personnel and police officers, according to contemporary reports. The event also used the #Run4OurSoldiers theme.

The growth can also be seen in the marathon’s record on the international running calendar. AIMS lists editions dating back to 2021 and shows the 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 races, along with the forthcoming 2026 edition.

For Ahmedabad, the marathon has become part of the city’s annual sporting calendar. The route uses the Sabarmati Riverfront, one of the city’s major public spaces, giving participants a course that combines a long-distance road race with some of the city’s better-known urban landmarks.

The 2026 edition will also continue the #Run4OurSoldiers theme. The organisers say the initiative brings civilians and members of the Armed Forces together and is intended to raise support for their welfare. The previous edition’s large participation from military and police personnel gave the campaign a visible presence on race day.

The 10th edition therefore comes with two milestones to watch: the race’s decade-long run in Ahmedabad and its ability to maintain the participation levels recorded in 2025.

Registrations and race information for the November 29 event are being released through the marathon’s official channels. The four-race format will allow experienced distance runners, first-time participants and shorter-distance runners to take part on the same race day.

For the city’s running community, the jersey launch is an early marker of the countdown to November 29. The larger test will come on race morning, when runners gather at the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park for the 10th edition of the Ahmedabad Marathon.
