Pushpa Impossible Stars Karuna Pandey and Mukul Visit Ahmedabad
Karuna Pandey and Mukul Harish Visited Ahmedabad as Pushpa Impossible Introduces a New Family Chapter
The Sony SAB drama brings its lead actors to Gujarat as Pushpa faces fresh family tensions and takes up affordable legal work through her ₹99 Lawyer initiative.
Actors Karuna Pandey and Mukul Harish, who play Pushpa and her long-lost son Tiger in Sony SAB’s television drama Pushpa Impossible, visited Ahmedabad to meet viewers and discuss the latest developments in the show. The visit comes as the characters face changes in their family relationships, with Pushpa trying to guide Tiger while continuing her work as a lawyer.
For Ahmedabad, the visit has a local connection through Pushpa’s Gujarati roots and Mukul Harish’s association with the city. The actors met fans as the programme introduced a new phase in the relationship between its central character and her newly discovered son.

First broadcast on 6 June 2022, Pushpa Impossible follows Pushpa Patel, a woman from Patan in Gujarat who lives in Mumbai and raises three children. The series is produced by Jamnadas Majethia under Hats Off Productions and airs on Sony SAB, with episodes available on SonyLIV.
The programme began with Pushpa facing financial pressure and family problems despite having limited formal education. Her decision to return to school at the age of 44 became an early part of the show’s central theme. Over time, her character has taken on new responsibilities, including legal work, while continuing to deal with problems at home.
The discovery that Tiger is Pushpa’s long-lost son has brought a fresh set of problems into the Patel family. Tiger is presented as a rough and impulsive young man who often acts without thinking about how his behaviour affects other people. His lack of understanding of the family’s ways creates friction, particularly with Pushpa’s other children, Shanaya and Chirag.
The writers have also drawn a clear link between Tiger and Pushpa’s earlier years. When viewers first met Pushpa, she struggled with education, confidence and her ability to understand the world around her. Tiger now faces some of those same difficulties.
Pushpa must decide how to help her son adjust to a family he barely knows. She also has to manage the concerns of her other children as they come to terms with Tiger’s presence.
Karuna Pandey said her visit to Ahmedabad gave her an opportunity to meet viewers who have followed Pushpa’s experiences over the years.
“It was wonderful to be in Ahmedabad and experience the love that audiences have for Pushpa Impossible. Ahmedabad has a very special connection with Pushpa because of her Gujarati roots, and meeting viewers here made the visit even more memorable. What I find most interesting about Pushpa is that she is constantly evolving. When audiences were first introduced to this character, she was a single mother who struggled to understand her children due to her lack of education and self-worth. Today, she has educated herself, become a lawyer and is now helping Tiger, who reminds her so much of the person she once was. There is always something new that Pushpa strives to learn, and I think that is what makes her journey so relatable. I am grateful for the love audiences continue to give her and the show.”
Alongside her family responsibilities, Pushpa has begun a new phase of her professional life through the ₹99 Lawyer initiative. Under this scheme, she takes up legal cases for a nominal fee, with the stated aim of making legal assistance more accessible.
The development gives the programme another issue to explore: the cost of seeking legal help. Legal advice and court proceedings can be difficult to afford for families with limited incomes. Pushpa’s initiative places this concern within the setting of a television drama, where she tries to help people who might otherwise struggle to obtain legal support.
Her work also continues the character’s earlier focus on education. Pushpa has spent much of the series learning new skills and correcting mistakes made because of her limited schooling. Her move into law gives her a way to use that learning while dealing with problems faced by others.
The ₹99 Lawyer initiative is a fictional element of the show. It should not be confused with an actual legal aid scheme offered by the government or a practising law firm.
For Mukul Harish, the Ahmedabad visit carried personal meaning because he is also from the city. He spoke about the difficulties Tiger faces as he enters a family whose members have developed their own habits and relationships.
“Visiting Ahmedabad and meeting the audience as Tiger was a really special experience, as I am also from Ahmedabad, and this place is very close to my heart. Tiger is entering Pushpa’s life at a point where she has already grown so much as a person, but in many ways, he takes her back to the woman she was when the show began. He is rough and often finds himself clashing with Pushpa’s other children because he does not understand their world yet. What makes the relationship interesting is that Pushpa can see herself in him, and she knows that people sometimes only need an opportunity to learn and be guided, rather than simply being judged. At the same time, Tiger is dealing with a completely new family and complicated relationships around him.”
The latest episodes place Tiger’s adjustment to family life alongside Pushpa’s work and her responsibilities towards her other children. His arrival gives the writers room to examine how family members respond when someone new enters their lives and how past experiences can shape present behaviour.
The Ahmedabad visit also reflects the programme’s links with Gujarat through Pushpa’s background and the actor’s personal connection with the city. By meeting viewers in person, Pandey and Harish took the characters beyond the television screen for a local audience familiar with the region represented in the series.
As Pushpa Impossible continues on Sony SAB and SonyLIV, the focus remains on Pushpa’s efforts to manage her home, build her legal career and help Tiger settle into an unfamiliar family. The new developments place her past and present side by side, as she tries to guide her son through difficulties she once faced herself.
