According to Pankaj Tripathi, he has chosen to refrain from using foul language in his movies and television shows. In a recent interview, Mirzapur native Pankaj, who is known for portraying foul-mouthed characters in movies and television shows, the most well-known of which is Kaleen Bhaiya, made the latest claim.
2004 saw Pankaj make his acting debut in Run, followed by Omkara (2006). He has been in a number of movies and television programs. But in 2012, he became well-known for his part in the television series Gangs of Wasseypur. Since then, he has appeared in a number of movies, including Newton, Stree, Ludo, Fukrey, and Bareilly Ki Barfi. He is most known for playing the lead role of Akhandanand Tripathi in the web series Mirzapur. He has also appeared in Criminal Justice, Yours Truly, and Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors.
Pankaj stated that he doesn’t support “abusing on a whim” in an interview with Mid-Day in 2020. “Actors who abuse on film do it in a specific setting,” he remarked. I do not condone or support the practice of abusing people at random. I try to avoid using foul language in my situations unless it’s absolutely necessary. It’s not a matter of exercising moral restraint. I merely am aware of the work that I produce as an artist.
In response to the question of whether he would avoid using profanity in his films during a recent interview with Connect FM Canada, Pankaj responded, “Yes, I have made the decision to not do so. I’ll choose to portray it creatively if my character requires it.
