Ameya Prabhu Becomes New President of Indian Chamber of Commerce

Mr. Ameya Prabhu, a successful businessman, writer, and philanthropist, has become the new President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He assumed this prestigious role at the Annual General Meeting held at Taj Bengal Kolkata on October 31, 2023.
Mr. Prabhu, who is the Founder and Managing Director of NAFA Capital Advisors, a Mumbai-based financial firm, is also a partner in UAP Advisors LLP. He’s the first ICC President from outside West Bengal. ICC is the oldest chamber of commerce in India and has been headquartered in Kolkata since 1925.
Mr. Prabhu, who holds degrees in Economics and Financial Management, is known for his work as a writer and his involvement with a nonprofit organization focused on human development.

Mr. Prabhu expressed his enthusiasm about the new role and his commitment to guiding the ICC into the future, adapting to changing times, and expanding its influence on a national and international level.
Additionally, Mr. Abhyuday Jindal, the Managing Director of Jindal Stainless Limited, became the Senior Vice President of ICC. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Management from Boston University.
