Bakul Foundation Plans Distribution and Plantation Program for Beeli Plants

We’re thrilled to share that this year, the Bakul Foundation is embarking on a special project to plant Beeli trees. Our goal is to distribute and plant around 2,500 Beeli plants, and we’re excited to tell you how we’ll achieve this with the help of our dedicated volunteers and partners.
Planting Efforts by the Bakul Foundation
Our team, along with our enthusiastic volunteers, will be planting a total of 1,380 Beeli plants. This is a significant part of our overall goal, and we’re committed to making sure each plant has the best start possible. Our planting activities will be spread across various locations to maximize the impact and ensure that the Beeli plants have the opportunity to thrive in diverse environments.
Special Planting Locations
In addition to our main planting efforts, we have planned some special planting activities:
- Pauranik and Swayambhu Shiva Temple: We will be planting 121 Beeli plants at this sacred site. The Pauranik and Swayambhu Shiva Temple, located in Gyaspur, Vishala, is a place of cultural and spiritual significance. By planting Beeli trees here, we aim to contribute to the beautification and environmental health of this important location.
Collaboration with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
We’re also excited to collaborate with the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Garden Department. Together, we will be planting 1,000 Beeli plants at Agroforestry Gyaspur. This partnership is an excellent opportunity to work with local authorities to promote green spaces and support urban forestry projects. Agroforestry Gyaspur is a key area where we hope the Beeli plants will grow and enhance the local environment.
