Effigy Of Congress Leader Burned During BJYM Protest In Ahmedabad City
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of Karnavati staged a strong protest at Town Hall on Ashram Road. They opposed Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party and burned his effigy.

According to a press note from the Karnavati media office, this protest followed offensive remarks made by Rahul Gandhi at his Darbhanga rally. He allegedly used disrespectful words about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and referred to his late mother in a low, insulting way.
This controversy is confirmed by news reports. The BJP strongly reacted to those comments during the “Voter Adhikar Yatra”, calling them extremely indecent. They filed formal complaints and called the words a shocking breach of political decorum.
Addressing the media, Karnavati BJYM president Prerakbhai Shah said Rahul Gandhi and Congress workers have lost dignity in politics, resorting now to low-level tactics. He said hurting the feelings of a respected post-holder like the Prime Minister, and mentioning his late mother in a disrespectful way, showed a poor mindset. With the nation emotionally connected to PM Modi, this caused deep hurt. All BJP workers demand that Rahul Gandhi apologise to the Prime Minister for hurtful words about his mother.
After this incident, the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi who is sitting on a constitutional seat, instead of saying that “he will look into this matter and the culprit will be discarded from the party and/or actions will be taken on him” The shameless Rahul Gandhi tweeted on his social media handle.

This is nothing but clear intentions of spreading violence in the nation. Rahul Gandhi has become so desperate that he wants this narrative to work by hook or by crook.
I think this is not right. The way Rahul Gandhi is behaving is maligning Congress’s image in people’s minds.
Looking at his records of failed narratives, people are now clearly understanding that Rahul Gandhi is just spreading false narratives in the nation and nothing else.
Congress workers abused Modi in their rally, and this matches the national BJP leaders’ reactions. Home Minister Amit Shah mocked the Yatra, calling it a “Ghuspethia Bachao Yatra,” and said such attacks only make the BJP symbol “bloom brighter.” Many BJP state units also demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi after these remarks.
During the protest, people chanted slogans like “Rahul Gandhi must apologise,” “India will not tolerate insults to the Prime Minister,” and “Down with Congress.” They burned an effigy of Rahul Gandhi to show their anger.
This kind of protest is not new. In Darbhanga, BJP supporters even used Rahul Gandhi’s photo as a doormat and spoke of printing it on tissue paper, symbolising their deep anger over what they saw as insults.
Leaders and workers joined the protest in large numbers. Present were Ahmedabad West MP Dinesh Makwana, BJYM city president Vinay Desai, all city office holders, and many youth workers.
Such mobilisation mirrors actions across India. The BJYM has staged effigy burnings of Rahul Gandhi in Patna, Goa, Tripura, Jammu, and other states—often over different causes like the National Herald case or remarks in Parliament.
