“A Guide to Parenting with Love and Empathy”

Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff, a well-known educator, introduced her first book, “Baby Steps to Big Dreams – Essential Conversations for Modern Parents.” Her book emphasizes the importance of children in our lives and aims to assist parents in approaching their children’s challenges with empathy and care.

Dr. Shroff, with her background in education, has learned the profound impact of love on children’s lives. Through her book, she intends to provide parents with valuable conversations that can help them view their children’s situations from a more understanding and loving perspective. The book addresses various concerns and offers insights into the holistic development of children.

She expressed, “Parenting is a joyful journey that should be treasured. ‘Baby Steps to Big Dreams’ covers a range of topics suitable for different age groups. It recognizes that children’s behaviour corresponds to their stages of growth and offers diverse perspectives and experiences. This book will empower parents, caregivers, guardians, and teachers with the tools and methods to protect their children’s childhood and nurture them into confident adults. It offers guidance on balancing indulgence with discipline, love with guidance, and fostering meaningful conversations.”

The book was previously launched in Mauritius on August 23 by Mauritian President Prithvirajsing Roopun, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Tertiary Education Mrs. Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, and Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance MK Seeruttun, alongside prominent figures from various fields.

“Baby Steps to Big Dreams” is available on Amazon, leading e-commerce websites, and major bookstores nationwide. It has been published by Vitasta Publishing, an independent publishing house based in New Delhi.
