Hindu Conference, Ahmedabad, Inspires Emotional Unity and Awareness Call
A grand Hindu conference was organised on 1 March 2026 at GD Party Plot near Science City by Hindu Hit Raksha Samiti, Shreeji Vasti, Bhagvatnagar. Science City in Ahmedabad is known as a major public place where large social and cultural events often take place. It was built to promote science and learning, but its large open spaces and party plots are also used for community gatherings. Many groups choose this area because it is easy for people from different parts of the city to attend.
The event began with a Ganesh Vandana performed by students studying at Gyan Mandir, which is run by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Ganesh Vandana is a prayer offered to Lord Ganesha, who is worshipped by Hindus as the remover of obstacles and the god of new beginnings. It is common in India to start important events with this prayer to seek blessings. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, also known as RSS, is a social organisation founded in 1925. It focuses on discipline, social service, and cultural education. It runs schools, service projects, and training programmes across India.
These children also performed patriotic songs. Patriotic songs have always played an important role in Indian culture. During the freedom struggle, such songs inspired people to stand together and work for the country. Even today, these songs are used in schools and public events to teach children about love for the nation. Their performance impressed the brothers, sisters, mothers, and children present at the conference, and many people watched with great interest and pride.
Jignesh Dada, who attended as the chief guest, spoke on the occasion. He said that if Hindus do not stay awake and aware, then in the future, slogans like “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” may stop. These slogans are widely used in India during religious events, social gatherings, and national celebrations. “Jai Shri Ram” is a chant devoted to Lord Ram, who is seen as a symbol of truth and duty. “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” means victory to Mother India and is used to show respect and love for the country.
He strongly called upon Hindus to become aware. He also spoke about five changes and said that families should stay united and support having two children. Family unity has always been seen as an important part of Indian society. In many Indian homes, joint families live together and support each other. He spoke about protecting Hindu interests. He also said that if there are no Sanatan followers in this country, then who will protect the Vyaspith? Vyaspith is the seat from which religious teachings and stories are shared. It is named after Maharishi Vyas, who is believed to have written the Mahabharata, one of the most important Hindu epics. He expressed his concern about this.
On this occasion, Hitesh Patel, the Physical Head of RSS West Karnavati Division, also spoke. He explained why the Sangh exists, about the Sangh’s 100 years, and about the five changes in detail. The RSS will complete 100 years in 2025. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest volunteer organisations in the world. It is known for its daily shakhas, where members gather for physical exercise, games, and discussions. These shakhas aim to build discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility.
Folk artist Nikunj Patel also performed at the conference. He sang songs about Shivaji Maharaj and patriotic songs, which filled people with national pride. Shivaji Maharaj was a great warrior king who lived in the 17th century. He founded the Maratha Empire and is remembered for his courage, good leadership, and respect for all religions. His life story is often shared in songs and plays to inspire people, especially the youth.
It is worth noting that stalls for Sadhana magazine and cow-based products were also well-arranged at the conference. Sadhana magazine is known among readers who are interested in social and cultural topics. Magazines like these help share ideas, stories, and opinions with the public. Cow-based products are also linked to Hindu traditions. In Hindu belief, the cow is respected and seen as a symbol of care and giving, because it provides milk and supports rural life. Many people use products made from cow milk, ghee, and other natural items in their daily lives.
