Get ready for an action-packed adventure as ‘The Freelancer‘ series hits Disney+ Hotstar on September 1, 2023. This thrilling show follows a man on a daring rescue mission in war-torn Syria to save a young girl named Aliya. The series is inspired by the book ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat and is directed by Bhav Dhulia. It’s produced by Friday Storytellers, with Neeraj Pandey as the Creator and Showrunner.
Leading the cast are popular actor Mohit Raina and veteran actor Anupam Kher, joined by Kashmira Pardeshi. You’ll also see talented actors like Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji, Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, and Sarah Jane Dias.
The action scenes are a major highlight of the show, and shooting them was a real challenge. Neeraj Pandey, the Creator, and Showrunner, brought together a fantastic team for ‘The Freelancer’.
Pandey shared, “Our crew was a mix of talented people from India and other countries. The action sequences were led by a skilled French expert named Jerome, who worked closely with our Indian action specialist Abbas Bhai. We made sure to get every detail right with inputs from Shirish Thorat on the combat scenes.”
