The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two entities underscores their commitment to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patelji’s vision of a self-reliant India through skill development.

Garuda Aerospace Commits 10 Agricultural Drones Valued at Rs 1 Crore
As part of the collaboration, Garuda Aerospace will contribute 10 small-category agricultural drones to Kaushalya – The Skill University, with an estimated value of Rs 1 crore. These drones will play a crucial role in specialized training programs in agriculture, promoting skill development in this vital sector. The partnership extends beyond the hardware, as Garuda Aerospace pledges mentorship support for drone technology to both students and start-ups associated with the university.
Bridging the Gap Between Training and Employment
Placement Support and Collaborative Research Initiatives
Recognizing the need to bridge the gap between training and employment, Garuda Aerospace will offer placement support to trainees undergoing drone training through the “Bharat Drone Association.” The company’s commitment goes further with the provision of technical experts in the field of drones, available through both online and offline channels. Collaborative research, indigenization, and product development will also be key aspects of the partnership.
Gujarat Aiming to Become the Drone Hub of India
A Transformative Step Towards Employment Growth
Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, expressed enthusiasm about positioning Gujarat as the Drone Hub of India. Intending to train 1 lakh drone pilots, Gujarat is well-poised to make a significant contribution, aiming for 10% of the total Drone Pilot community. This partnership is seen as a pivotal step in propelling Gujarat to the forefront of the growing drone technology landscape.

The Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed in the presence of Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Honourable Minister for Industry Small, Micro, and Medium Industries Kutir, Khadi, and Village Industries Civil Aviation Labour and Employment. Representatives from Kaushalya – The Skill University, including Mr. H.R. Suthar and Dr. Vijayakumar Rajarathinam of Garuda Aerospace, marked their commitment to empowering youth with cutting-edge skills in drone technology. The event saw significant participation from government officials, emphasizing the shared dedication to fostering innovation and skill development.
