The P.P. Savani family in Surat organised a lavish wedding ceremony, known as “Piyariyu,” for 111 orphan daughters who had lost their fathers in a heartwarming act of kindness and generosity. The occasion, which took place at the P.P. Savani Chaitanya Vidya Sankul, demonstrated the family’s commitment to helping these young ladies enter a new stage of their life.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel attended the event and performed the brides’ holy Kanyadaan rite. Since 2011, this ceremony has become a shining example of leveraging money for the greater good, he said, praising the Savani family’s unselfish dedication. The Chief Minister declared, “Maheshbhai Savani has become a foster father to thousands of daughters by assuming the responsibilities of a father.”
