Kaur is now in place 13 after moving up one spot.

Following the conclusion of their ICC Women’s Championship (IWC) series in Pallekele, captains Chamari Athapaththu of Sri Lanka and Harmanpreet Kaur of India saw increases in the MRF Tyres ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings. Against Australia at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Bristol five years ago, Athapaththu scored an incredible 178 off 143 balls, which enabled her to move up two positions and tie her career-best ranking of ninth.
Kaur has climbed one spot to take over the 13th spot, and her Player of the Match performance of 75 helped her raise her rating by 12 points. Kaur, who led India to a 3-0 victory with a final score of 119 runs and three wickets, was named Player of the Series. She has also climbed eight ranks to 71st place among bowlers and four spots to 20th place among all-rounders.

Yastika Bhatia (up one spot to 45th), Pooja Vastrakar, and Shafali Verma are three other Indian batters who have advanced in the rankings (up eight places to 53rd). Rajeshwari Gayakwad has moved up three spots to joint-ninth position in the bowlers’ rankings after taking three for 36. Meghna Singh has moved up four spots to joint-43rd place and Vastrakar has moved up two spots to joint-48th place.

The hitters from Sri Lanka, Harshitha Samarawickrama and Nilakshi de Silva, are now ranked 43rd and 47th respectively. Spinner Inoka Ranaweers moved up five spots to 16th on the bowling list with a haul of two for 22 as she continued to climb the rankings.

1st ODI between SA and ENG was also considered

Chloe Tryon, a South African all-rounder who scored 88 runs in the game, has risen 12 spots to 22nd in the most recent weekly rankings, which also take into consideration spinner Nadine de Klerk’s performance in the opening game of South Africa’s ODI series in England.

After only three ODIs, England’s Emma Lamb, who was voted Player of the Match for her 102-run innings, has climbed 76 places to 101st, while fast bowler Katherine Brunt has climbed three spots to joint-ninth after taking three for 18. Charlie Dean, a spinner, is now ranked thirty-one.
