International Yoga Day 2026 Inspires Health and Wellness
Indian Air Force to Celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is preparing to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21, 2026, by conducting the Common Yoga Protocol across its establishments nationwide. The initiative reflects the IAF’s continued commitment to physical fitness, mental strength, and inner balance, which are considered essential qualities for every air warrior.
The celebrations will be held at Air Force stations across the country, spanning from the high-altitude region of Leh in the north to Car Nicobar in the south, and from Tawang in the east to the holy city of Dwarka in the west.
In addition to Air Force personnel and their families, school students and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets will participate in the yoga sessions. The nationwide observance highlights the Indian Air Force’s dedication to promoting health, well-being, and the timeless values of yoga.
The theme for International Yoga Day 2026 is “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” The theme emphasises the role of yoga in maintaining physical health, mental wellness, and an active lifestyle throughout life. It also underscores the importance of yoga in encouraging long-term fitness and overall well-being.
