Kanika Kapoor has given marriage a second opportunity by marrying Gautam Hathiramani, who lives in London. On the 20th of May, Kanika and Gautam tied the knot. Kanika shared gorgeous photos from her London wedding registration on Monday. “Happiness,” she captioned this sequence of photos.
The singer revealed in a recent interview that one failed marriage does not change her attitude about marriage. She told The Times of India that she was born and raised in Lucknow and that she has always been part of a large joint family, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her grandparents, uncles and aunts, and parents, who “had a happy married life throughout.”
She went on to say that she had always believed in marriage as an institution, but that when things didn’t work out, it was time to go on. “I understand that you might be in a marriage with a person who doesn’t understand you, and vice versa,” she explained. She did, however, emphasize that it is not anyone’s responsibility and that it is critical to move on.
Kapoor rose to prominence after singing Sunny Leone’s Baby Doll. She married Raj Chandok when she was 18 years old, and they divorced in 2012. They have three children, Yuvraj (19), Aayana (17), and Samara (12). (15). Raj and she “continued to have a really elegant relationship,” she said. She stated that it was crucial for her to “live and lead a life free of hatred and negativity.”
