Actor Kishor Das from Assam passed away at the age of 30 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Today in Chennai, the actor’s last rites were conducted.
Popular Actor Kishor Das from Assam died on Saturday after a prolonged battle with cancer. The actor, 30, who appeared in more than 300 music videos, passed away at a Chennai hospital where he had been receiving treatment since March of this year.
The young actor, who was from Mirza in the Kamrup area, died as a result of complications related to Covid-19.
Due to coronavirus pandemic precautions, the actor’s final rites were conducted in Chennai on Saturday evening rather than in his hometown of Mirza.
According to local MLA from the Palashbari constituency Hemanga Thakuria, “Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma talked with the Tamil Nadu administration to make preparations to bring the actor’s body to Assam but it did not happen owing to the Covid-19 restrictions.”
