Vijay Deverakonda, who plays a stuttering kickboxer, underwent a dramatic physical transformation for the role and trained in martial arts in Thailand. Janhvi Kapoor was the original choice to play the female protagonist, however, she was replaced by Ananya Panday due to scheduling issues. Mike Tyson, the boxer, was enlisted for a cameo appearance in the film in September 2021. Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, and Makarand Deshpande round out the supporting cast.
