Renowned Bollywood makeup artist Manisha has taken another significant step in her professional journey with the grand opening of MM Makeup Studio & Academy By Manisha in Malad West, Mumbai. Founded in 2026, the newly launched studio aims to provide premium makeup services alongside professional training for aspiring makeup artists.
Born in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Manisha completed her Master of Arts (M.A.) and PGDCA in Computer Applications before moving to Mumbai in 2012 to pursue her passion for the beauty and entertainment industry. Through years of dedication and hard work, she established herself as a respected professional makeup artist in the Bollywood film industry.
Over the years, Manisha has worked with numerous celebrities and contributed to a wide range of projects, including feature films, television commercials, fashion shows, web series, music albums, print campaigns, digital shoots, and brand promotions. Her expertise and artistic approach have earned her recognition across both the entertainment and wedding industries.
One of the highlights of her career was being part of the makeup team for the grand wedding celebrations of Isha Ambani, daughter of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, during the lavish pre-wedding musical ceremony held in Jaipur. She has also been associated with several high-profile luxury weddings across India.
Expanding her entrepreneurial vision, Manisha founded MM Film Production (MM Films) in 2025, marking her entry into film production. She is also a member of the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA). Continuing her journey of growth, she has now launched MM Makeup Studio & Academy By Manisha, a modern beauty destination offering bridal, celebrity, fashion, editorial, and prosthetic makeup services, along with industry-focused professional training.
