The maverick storyteller Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan, from the makers of the blockbuster hit franchises Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhanaa, has already generated quite a stir! The first motion poster for the film was released today by the film’s creators.
Raksha Bandhan, produced by Colour Productions, ZEE Studios, and Cape of Good Films, starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in their second film together following ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.’ Neeraj Sood, Seema Pahwa, Sadia Khateeb, Abhilash Thapliyal, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth, and Sahejmeen Kaur also star in the film. The family drama is expected to be an emotional roller coaster that encapsulates sibling love.

Aanand L Rai directed the film, which was written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon and co-produced by Aanand L Rai, Alka Hiranandani, and ZEE Studios.
