The second season of COLOURS’ “Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment” comes to a tasty conclusion with Karan Kundra and Elvish Yadav lifting the award!
In July 2025, National: This season’s last course has finally been served by the kitchen that had India laughing, cheering, and cooking along, but not before serving up a spectacular conclusion that was full of drama, joy, and delight. With much hoopla, COLOURS’ “Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment,” the country’s most popular dinner entertainment extravaganza, concluded a successful Season 2 finale. The winners’ trophy was lifted by the dynamic duo of Elvish Yadav and Karan Kundra.
This season was a wild ride that deviated from the plan. Every episode featured a different taste bomb, with unexpected guests, mid-season twists, and a wild swing from profound passion to laugh-out-loud mayhem. Krushna Abhishek, who was prepared to make every circumstance into a comedic gold mine, added his Midas touch to the frenzy of laughter. With one-liners that could cut through any turmoil, Sudesh Lehri delivered his classic comedy. While Nia Sharma’s comeback created a hilarious connection with Sudesh that left fans in stitches, Aly Goni’s reappearance stirred the pot with new, contagious energy. Vicky-Ankita’s nok-jhok became a common joke as Rubina Dilaik exuded the huge queen spirit. The season offered a plethora of dinnertainment, ranging from Bollywood avatars and Holi craziness to a heartwarming Mother’s Day special and a full-on masala Media episode. The show delivered weekly doses of love, humour, and surprises, complemented by the distinctive wit of Bharti Singh and the savoury knowledge of Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
The best collaborations are sometimes spontaneous and unplanned. And the show’s victors brought precisely that to the table. The food on the show was elevated by Karan and Elvish, who combined swagger and spice. For the first time in the history of the show, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi gave them a salute in the middle of an episode since their Mexican basket trio was so perfect! With his clever one-liners, Elvish transformed from a novice chef to a skilled one, thrilled to be giving his spouse a triumphant embrace and exuding bhai-bond ambitions! The two created a flurry of amusement, garnering the most golden stars, with Elvish starting cheeky banter and Karan taking the stage while doing yoga.
“Returning for Season 2 proved to be one of the most special experiences I’ve had in a long time,” Karan Kundrra stated after his victory. It’s difficult to explain the sense of relaxation that pervaded this set; there was no pressure, no overanalysing, simply pure enjoyment. I had the impression that my family had missed me. I joined in the middle of the season with no preparation, and all of a sudden, I found myself in this high-pressure kitchen with Elvish, who is purely instinctive and jugaad, and something just clicked. What I value most is that this journey, with all its joy, imperfections, and flavour, conveys a straightforward yet impactful message: everybody can and should cook. Since eating is about connecting rather than perfection.
“When I entered Laughter Chefs, I thought it would be a fun break – a few laughs, some kitchen disasters, and then back to regular life,” Elvish Yadav said about ending the season with a victory. This show, however, had different ideas. It drew me into its mood from the first week. And Karan and I clicked right away when we paired up. We simply turned up, had a good time, and remained authentic—we never overplanned. I had never worked in a kitchen before, but I learnt a lot from this experience. I now respect and admire people who cook regularly in a completely different way. The fact that my mother was able to see every moment—the setbacks, the development, and the eventual victory—stands out to me.
