When Samantha Ruth Prabhu made her streaming debut in the spy thriller The Family Man 2 as the main antagonist Raji in the Manoj Bajpayee-starring series, she established herself as one of the most well-known faces in the South cinema industry and among the Hindi-speaking audience.
Many rumors have claimed that Samantha will soon make her Bollywood debut because Taapsee Pannu confirmed that the Super Deluxe actress would star in a movie she produced. However, the most recent rumors claim that Samantha has already signed on for her first Hindi movie, which will star Ayushmann Khurrana.
The South phenomenon will make her Bollywood debut in a huge commercial comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, according to a Peepingmoon.com story. “In the past 8–9 months, she has received offers for dozens of movies and web series, but only a select handful have been able to titillate her enough to merit consideration. Samantha has never read a script as interesting as Dinesh Vijan’s, and there is no way she could have passed it on “according to a source who was quoted by the portal.
The insider went on to say that the actress’s role as the lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the future movie, which the producers hope to release in late 2023, makes it the ideal Bollywood debut for her.
Samantha’s most recent appearance was in the April release of the romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, in which she co-starred alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Additionally, the actress will appear in three other movies that will be released this year.
Samantha will star alongside Vijay Deverakonda, who is getting ready to make his Bollywood debut with the sports drama Liger, in the mythological drama Shakuntalam, the science fiction thriller Yashoda, and the romantic comedy Kushi.
