Anushka Sharma finally came out of her shell to attend Karan Johar’s birthday bash. Virat Kohli was enamored with her gown, which was a glittery black gown.
Anushka Sharma is rarely seen at a Bollywood gathering or function because she is either caring for her one-year-old baby Vamika or accompanying cricketer husband Virat Kohli on his travels. On Wednesday, the actor made a rare public appearance, attending Karan Johar’s star-studded birthday event. Not only Virat but also her industry colleagues and fans praised her for her look in a black gown.
“Two hours beyond my bedtime but looking fine,” Anushka remarked on Instagram as she shared some of her photos before leaving her house. Within a few hours, her post had over 1.8 million ‘likes.’
Virat responded with “wow” and a slew of heart-eyes emojis and heart emoticons. “Ooooo la la,” Samantha Ruth Prabhu said. “Where’s the item we talked about?” remarked Arjun Kapoor, who couldn’t make it to the celebration. In the comments section, Rhea Kapoor and Dia Mirza used fire emojis. Many of her admirers referred to her as “beautiful,” “slayer,” and “hot.”
Because Virat was playing in the IPL playoffs for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Anushka attended the celebration alone. Virat’s post celebrating his team’s triumph over Lucknow Super Giants, which earned them a spot in the semi-finals, elicited a response from Anushka.
