The Indian Army has announced the results of the Online Army Agniveer Recruitment Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for candidates from 21 districts of Gujarat, along with the Union Territories of Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The examination was conducted between 1 June and 12 June 2026, and the results are now available on the official Join Indian Army recruitment portal.
The published results cover applicants from Ahmedabad, Anand, Aravalli, Banaskantha, Bharuch, Chhota Udepur, Dang, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, Mehsana, Narmada, Navsari, Panchmahal, Sabarkantha, Surat, Tapi, Vadodara, Valsad and the Vav Tharad area. Candidates can check their status through the Army Recruitment Office (ARO) wise merit lists released on the recruitment website.
The Common Entrance Examination is the first stage of the Agniveer recruitment process under the Agnipath scheme. Those whose names appear in the merit list are eligible to move to the next phases of selection, which include the physical fitness test, physical measurement test, document verification and a detailed medical examination. Final enrolment depends on successfully clearing each stage and meeting all eligibility requirements.
The Agniveer recruitment system was introduced to provide young people with an opportunity to serve in the Indian Armed Forces for a four-year period. Recruitment is carried out through a transparent, merit-based process that combines an online written examination with physical and medical assessments. The CEE is conducted in multiple Indian languages and includes different categories such as General Duty, Technical, Office Assistant or Clerk, Tradesman, Sepoy Pharma and Women Military Police, depending on the recruitment notification.
Candidates are advised to rely only on official announcements issued through the Join Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. and their respective Army Recruitment Offices. The Indian Army has repeatedly warned applicants to avoid unofficial claims or individuals promising recruitment assistance, stating that selection is based entirely on merit and prescribed standards. Further instructions for shortlisted candidates will be issued by the concerned Army Recruitment Offices in the coming days.
