Exciting New Show ‘Sultan of Delhi’ Coming to Disney+ Hotstar

Mumbai, September 22, 2023: Get ready for a thrilling story of ambition, greed, love, and power in Disney+ Hotstar’s upcoming series, ‘Sultan of Delhi.’ Produced by Reliance Entertainment and directed by Milan Luthria, this series is based on the book ‘Sultan of Delhi: Ascension’ by Arnab Ray. You can catch all the action starting from October 13, 2023, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
The show features a talented cast including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anjumm Sharma, Vinay Pathak, Nishant Dahiya, Anupriya Goenka, Mouni Roy, Harleen Sethi, and Mehreen Pirzada.
Set in the 1960s, ‘Sultan of Delhi’ tells the story of Arjun Bhatia (played by Tahir Raj Bhasin), who works with Delhi’s biggest illegal arms dealer, Jagan Seth (played by Vinay Pathak). It’s a high-stakes battle for power, and Arjun must navigate a dangerous world to fulfill his ambition of becoming the Sultan Of Delhi.
Director Milan Luthria expressed his excitement, saying, “We’ve put a lot of effort into this series, and we hope it’s a real page-turner for the audience.”
Tahir Raj Bhasin, who plays the central character Arjun Bhatia, described his role as challenging and exciting. He mentioned that the show explores both physical challenges and emotional relationships, including a special friendship with Anjumm Shharma’s character.
Anjumm Sharma, who plays Bangali, Arjun’s friend in the series, shared how working on the show helped build a genuine friendship with Tahir Raj Bhasin off-screen.
Mouni Roy, who plays Nayantara, described her character as bold on the outside but vulnerable on the inside. She expressed her joy in making her web series debut with ‘Sultan of Delhi and working with Milan Luthria.
The series promises to be a captivating journey through a world of ambition and power, filled with intriguing characters and friendships. Don’t miss it when it premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on October 13, 2023.
