Garena Free Fire India Relaunch Delayed for Improvements
Garena Free Fire, a famous mobile game, was supposed to come back to India on September 5, but now it’s going to take a bit longer. They say they want to make the game even more fun and safe for Indian players, so they need more time.
Last week, Garena said the game would come back with special stuff just for Indian players. They also told us that a company called Yotta would help keep Indian players’ information safe. They planned to add features like parental controls and reminders to take breaks from playing.
They even got MS Dhoni, the famous Indian cricket player, to be a part of the game!
However, the Indian government banned the game because they thought it might be a problem for people’s privacy and security. Even though it’s made by a company in Singapore, it was on the list of banned apps.
Another popular game, BGMI, was banned too, but it came back in May, and Indian players were happy about that.
Now, it seems Garena is being extra careful to follow Indian rules and make sure the game is great for everyone when it comes back. So, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to play Free Fire in India.
