Recently retired actor Paresh Rawal announced that Kartik Aaryan has joined the project and that Akshay Kumar has left the Hera Pheri franchise.
Since the release of Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri decades ago, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty have become one of the most adored comedic trios. The movie quickly gained cult status. Paresh Rawal has now revealed that Kartik Aaryan has joined the cast of the third instalment, which is currently under production.

Recently, producer Firoz Nadiadwala announced his intention to revive the comedic movie franchises. The long-awaited Hera Pheri 3, which fans have been clamouring for, is now finally available. During this time, rumours that Kartik would replace Kumar as the actor were rampant.
A Twitter user who appeared to be an Akshay Kumar fan tagged Paresh Rawal and inquired about the veracity of rumours that Kartik Aaryan would be joining the cast of Hera Pheri 3. The seasoned actor responded, “Yes,” to affirm.

All of the comedy film franchise’s fans are shocked by this. We don’t want any new actors, especially this PR Star, a fan commented. Our current team is capable, as stated by one user, while another added, “And what about Akshay Sir? I am aware that Hera pheri main koi maza nhi without you.

According to a recent report from Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar may cancel this movie as well as other franchises like Welcome and Awara Paagal Deewana. “Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Pagal Deewana are three of the most popular franchises led by Akshay Kumar, and he was extremely anxious to return the famous films,” the tabloid quoted a source as saying. After multiple rounds of conversations, he has chosen to back out since he couldn’t agree with the general principles in the script.

The source continued, “Kumar is aware of the high standards set by his fans for him in these comic franchises. Since previous attempts to adapt these sequels without careful consideration and with different performers had failed, he would not compromise on the quality of the scripts.
