Newzdaddy Entertainment Updates
Devanil Film Production recently launched its upcoming Gujarati film, “Mukhi,” with a special ceremony attended by the lead actors, the film crew, and friends. In an era when Gujarati films are exploring diverse themes, “Mukhi” stands out with its storyline centered around the issue of prohibition. The auspicious muhurat ceremony took place at Lucky Studios in Muhurta Halol.

The film is produced by Hasvinkumar Patel and co-produced by Savjibhai Satani (Ashok Sound Botad). Leading the cast is Jeet Upendra, a well-known face in Gujarati cinema. He is joined by talented co-stars, including Shublakshmi, Krishna Jhala, Himanshu Turi, Karishma Khoja, and Dilip Soni portraying the antagonist. Additionally, renowned Gujarati film and drama actors Bimal Trivedi, Ishwar Sameerkar, and Jayendra Mehta make guest appearances.
The heart of “Mukhi” lies in its narrative, inspired by the real-life experiences of producer Hasvinkumar Patel’s father, who served as a village headman and dedicated himself to raising awareness about alcohol prohibition and the challenges he encountered.
Kalpesh Desai, a well-known director in the Gujarati film industry, helms this project. Praveen Prajapati serves as the production director, Mustafa Malik is the cinematographer, Kaleem Shaikh provides the music, and Kanti Patel contributes the lyrics.
Producer Hasvinkumar Patel expressed optimism that “Mukhi” would soon grace the big screens, providing Gujarati viewers with a meaningful cinematic experience.
