NCC Cadets Bring Yoga to Life at Sabarmati Riverfront

1. The state-level celebration of International Yoga Day-2025, which was organised at Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad, was enthusiastically attended by around 1000 NCC Cadets, Officers, and Training Staff of Ahmedabad Group under NCC Dte Gujarat. As envisioned by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this event was organised to promote a healthier and fitter India via the ancient philosophy of yoga.

2. The event was graced by Hon. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, who emphasised the importance of yoga in contemporary day. He emphasised in his speech the advantages of integrating yoga into daily life, such as enhanced mental and physical health.

3. Brig N V Nath, Group Commander, NCC Ahmedabad, organised the yoga event, and Lt Col Arvind Joshi, Commanding Officer, 1 Gujarat Armd Sqn, NCC Ahmedabad, carried it out expertly on the ground.
4. The Gujarat NCC Cadets’ eagerness and excitement were commended and complimented by Maj Gen Rai Singh Godara, ADG, Gujarat Dte.
