Hyderabad: Salman Khan, a famous actor from Bollywood, took part in the Green India Challenge on Wednesday by planting a sapling and urging all of his followers to do the same to help the environment. At Ramoji Film City, where he was filming for his upcoming film “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali,” Salman planted a sapling.

Santosh Kumar, the founder of Green India and a Rajya Sabha member, and his film crew were with him.
Salman advised everyone to take ownership of the plantation effort and properly care for the saplings until they mature into large trees. He stated that it is regrettable that there is a great deal of human loss as a result of natural disasters, such as strong rains and floods, and that the best way to reduce this loss is to encourage extensive planting.

Santosh Kumar hailed the Bollywood celebrity for agreeing to participate in the Green India Challenge at his request. Salman’s attempt to plant trees, according to him, will undoubtedly inspire millions of his admirers. The actor was grateful that the MP had taken on the mission. “It is a very wonderful idea to plant trees. I have no idea why people enjoy felling trees. It is claimed that you should plant a tree when a guy stops growing. Man is a walking tree, and a tree is a stationary man. This connection is crucial, “added Salman.

“Wherever you have trees, you will have water,” he remarked, highlighting the significance of plantations.
