Kolkata, October 15, 2023: Bhowanipur 75 Palli Durga Puja, a popular festival in South Kolkata, is making a name for itself with its innovative decorations. This year, it celebrated its 59th year, and Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated the festivities.

Bhowanipur 75 Palli has a strong tradition of unique pandal decorations. This year, they’ve chosen to use mountain fruits like betel leaves and mangoes for decoration, following a traditional approach. The goddess idol, created by artist Prashant Pal, also reflects this traditional style.
