Fashion designer Rohit Bal is critical, on a ventilator

Newzdaddy Entertainment updates

Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal is facing a serious health crisis. He’s currently in critical condition and on a ventilator at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. The 61-year-old designer was admitted on November 23 due to heart failure, uncontrolled diabetes, and acute kidney failure.

Bal’s heart trouble called dilated cardiomyopathy, means his heart muscle is weakened and enlarged, making it hard to pump blood effectively. This isn’t his first encounter with heart issues; he suffered a heart attack in 2010 and was treated at the same hospital last year.

On Monday evening, his condition worsened, and he had to be put on a ventilator. His friend, actor Arjun Rampal, has visited him in the hospital. Bal, known for his distinctive lotus and peacock motifs and his support for Kashmiri craft, has been absent from public events for the past year due to health reasons.

It’s a tough situation for Bal, who had a major heart attack 13 years ago and has struggled with alcohol abuse, contributing to his poor health. We wish him strength and a speedy recovery.

In related news, there’s growing concern about heart failure cases in India, especially among those under 65. Early detection and prevention are crucial, given the impact of poor diet, sedentary lifestyles, and stress on heart health. Regular check-ups and awareness of symptoms can significantly improve outcomes.

an article discusses the risks of heart disease during festive seasons, emphasizing the importance of managing cholesterol through a healthy diet, stress management, and consulting with a cardiologist.

As of now, our thoughts are with Rohit Bal and his loved ones, and we hope for his recovery.
