IITRAM-CIPET MoU Opens New Academic and Research Opportunities
IITRAM Ahmedabad and CIPET Sign MoU for Academic and Research Collaboration
The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, and the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Government of India, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote academic interaction, research collaboration, skill development, and technological cooperation.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar Jain, Director General, IITRAM, and Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General, CIPET. Senior officials and representatives from both institutions attended the ceremony.
The collaboration focuses on developing a synergistic framework in the areas of Petrochemicals, Plastics, Polymers, Chemical Engineering and Science, Materials Science, and other related fields of Engineering, Technology and Science.
As part of the MoU, IITRAM and CIPET will encourage joint guidance of student projects and theses, participation in academic programmes and events, collaborative research and joint project proposals, exchange of faculty and technical personnel, and organisation of joint conferences and seminars. The agreement also provides opportunities for practical training of IITRAM students at CIPET centres and admission of eligible CIPET scientists, officers and project staff to postgraduate programmes at IITRAM.
Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of both institutions expressed their commitment to building a productive and mutually beneficial partnership that can create new opportunities for students, faculty members, researchers and technical professionals.
The signing marks an important step towards strengthening institutional cooperation between IITRAM and CIPET and creating new avenues for education, research, innovation, skill development and industry-oriented technological activities.
