OPPO F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G Bring 50MP Group Selfie Cameras

OPPO marks 10 Years of F Series in India with F35 Smartphone Launch

The F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G bring 50MP wide-angle selfie cameras, 8,000mAh batteries and fast charging, with prices starting at ₹38,999.

OPPO has launched the F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G in India as its F Series smartphone range completes 10 years in the country. Announced on 11 October 2026, the two phones focus on group photography, battery life, durability and video recording. The launch comes as smartphone makers face pressure to offer better features while consumers become more careful about spending.

The F Series began with the OPPO F1, which promoted selfie photography as a key selling point. OPPO says it has sold more than 30 million F Series smartphones in India over the past decade. The company now wants its latest models to appeal to people who regularly take group photographs at family gatherings, weddings, festivals and social events.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, said: “Over the last 10 years, the F Series has evolved alongside the changing ways in which consumers across India capture, connect and share their lives. In a market as diverse as India, every region has its own way of coming together and celebrating and Gujarat, with its rich culture of family, festivities and shared moments, is a great reflection of this spirit. The F35 Series builds on this evolution with the 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera and 100° field of view, bringing more people and more of the moment into every frame. With the Group Selfie Expert, we are taking the F Series’ decade-long imaging legacy forward in a way that reflects how consumers today come together, celebrate and create memories.”

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is priced at ₹45,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, ₹49,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB version, and ₹54,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB version.

The OPPO F35 5G costs ₹38,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB version and ₹42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB version.

Buyers can choose the F35 Pro 5G in Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue and Twilight Brown. The F35 5G comes in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink.

Both phones are available through retail shops, the OPPO India online store, Flipkart and Amazon. in. Buyers can also access offers including up to 10% instant cashback, no-cost EMI, an exchange bonus of up to 10% and zero-down-payment schemes. Additional festive offers apply to selected OPPO products and services.

Both models have a 50MP front camera with a 100-degree field of view. The wide view is designed to fit more people into a single photograph, while an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch helps users capture larger groups.

The F35 Pro 5G adds Natural Tone 2.0, a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera. It can record 4K video using both the front and rear cameras. Ultra-Steady mode helps reduce unwanted movement in footage, while Dual-View Video records through the front and rear cameras at the same time.

Portrait Mode, AI Popout and AI Remix Collage provide further options for editing photographs and preparing content for social media.

The standard F35 5G also has a 50MP main rear camera. Its front camera and wide-angle features are aimed at people who want to take group photographs without buying the Pro model.

Battery capacity is another major feature of the F35 range. Both phones have an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO says the battery can retain more than 80% of its original capacity after up to 1,800 charge cycles.

The company also lists IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 water and dust resistance, Rainstorm Touch and military-grade shock resistance. These features are intended to help the phones withstand everyday exposure to water, dust and accidental knocks. Actual protection depends on the conditions of use.

The F35 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor and has a 5,000mm² vapour chamber cooling system. Its 17.22cm AMOLED display supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The F35 5G has a 16.69cm FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Both models run ColorOS 16. Its tools include AI Recording, AI Ultra-Clear Documents, AI Call Guard and One-Tap Security Guard. OPPO also says its Trinity Engine and Extended Use Care 2.0 are designed to help maintain smooth performance over time.

Gujarat remains a focus for OPPO, which operates 24 exclusive service centres across the state. Its India-wide after-sales network includes more than 620 service centres in over 500 cities, offering support in 19 languages.

OPPO is also expanding its Service Centre 3.0 Pro format. More than 60 premium centres are operational, with over 150 additional centres planned across India in 2026. Features include digital check-in, live queue updates and digital displays.

The launch follows a strong first quarter for OPPO, according to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker. OPPO recorded 22% year-on-year growth in India during Q1 2026, while its market share rose from 12% to 15.3%. The wider Indian smartphone market, however, saw shipments fall 4.1% to 31 million units during the same quarter, according to IDC.

Counterpoint Research also placed OPPO among India’s leading smartphone brands, reporting a 14% share in Q1 2026, excluding OnePlus. The figures differ because research firms use different methods to measure the market.

For buyers, the F35 series offers a choice between two phones with similar battery capacities and selfie camera specifications. The final decision will depend on whether the Pro model’s stronger processor, higher display refresh rate and additional camera features justify its higher price.
