15th India Industrial Fair: UDYAM 2026 Organised
UDYAM 2026 Brings Manufacturers And Buyers Together in Gandhinagar From October 23 to 26
The 15th India Industrial Fair will bring manufacturers, entrepreneurs and buyers together from October 23 to 26, with organisers expecting more than 500 exhibitors and over one lakh visitors.
Manufacturers, small business owners and industrial buyers from across India are expected to gather at the Helipad Exhibition Centre (HEC), Gandhinagar, from October 23 to 26 for the 15th India Industrial Fair, UDYAM 2026. Organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati‘s Gujarat Region, the four-day event will focus on manufacturing, industrial technology and business links between micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The organisers expect more than 500 exhibitors and over 1,00,000 visitors. Participants are expected from Gujarat and other Indian states, including manufacturers, distributors, institutional buyers, government organisations and representatives of industrial associations.
The fair comes at a time when small businesses are seeking wider markets, better production methods and access to larger buyers.
For many smaller manufacturers, meeting potential customers and suppliers in person can help them find new orders and reduce the time spent searching for business partners.
Gujarat’s Industrial Network Takes Centre Stage
Laghu Udyog Bharati is an all-India organisation that works for the development of MSMEs and seeks to create opportunities for smaller industrial units. Its Gujarat Region is organising the 15th edition of the India Industrial Fair under the name UDYAM 2026.

At a press conference held ahead of the fair, Vajubhai Vaghasiya, Jaykalp Patel and Mehul Jadav shared details of the event and invited industrialists and people working in the MSME sector to participate.
UDYAM 2026 to Help MSMEs Access Government Schemes
Jaykal Patel, President of Laghu Udyog Bharati’s Karnavati District, said “The 15th India Industrial Fair, UDYAM 2026, will help small businesses connect with government schemes, dealers and buyers.
The exhibition will be held at the Helipad Ground, Gandhinagar, across 50,000 square metres. Patel said 500 stalls have been booked, with online registration still open.
A special seminar will explain government schemes, including ‘One District, One Product’, to help MSMEs understand available benefits. Visitors from different states are expected to attend, giving manufacturers and dealers opportunities for direct business meetings.
Laghu Udyog Bharati began its exhibition journey in Gujarat in 2001 and has since held 14 exhibitions in different locations, including Rajasthan, Bhiwandi, Assam and Chhattisgarh. The organisation represents businesses across sectors such as engineering, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
The fair has received support from the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Odhav Industries Association, Kathwada Industries Association, Naroda Industries Association, Santej Industries Association, Sanand Industries Association and Vatva Industries Association. District-level associations affiliated with Laghu Udyog Bharati are also supporting the event.
Vajubhai Vaghasiya, Kshetriya Prabhari of Laghu Udyog Bharati, spoke about the organisation’s efforts to support women who run small businesses from home.
Its Swayam Siddha exhibition gives women a platform to sell products such as homemade papad, snacks and stitched items. The event has mainly been held in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bhopal. Vaghasiya said the organisation plans to bring the exhibition to Gujarat as well.
He also described the India Manufacturing Show (IMS), held in Bengaluru, which focuses on international manufacturing, aerospace and defence. The next edition will be the show’s ninth.”
Vaghasiya said “these activities form part of Laghu Udyog Bharati’s wider work to support small businesses, encourage locally made products and create more employment opportunities in India.”
Small Businesses And The Wider Economy
MSMEs form a major part of India’s economy. According to figures published by the Union Government, the sector’s share of India’s gross domestic product was 30.1% in 2022-23. MSME-related products accounted for 45.73% of India’s total exports in 2023-24.
These figures help explain why industrial fairs aimed at smaller businesses attract attention. Many MSMEs supply parts, tools, packaging, machinery and other goods to larger companies. Their ability to find buyers and meet quality requirements can affect production across several industries.
For a small manufacturer, securing a regular order from a larger company can provide a more stable source of income. Buyers, in turn, can use such events to compare products, meet suppliers and discuss their purchasing needs.
UDYAM 2026 will seek to connect smaller units with large industries, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), distributors and other potential business partners. Such meetings may lead to supply agreements, although the actual results will depend on the discussions and commercial terms agreed by the parties.
